Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 2026

This policy explains the categories of information SHXRM Studio may process when you use the Windows application, website, licensing system, connected streaming-platform features and support tools.

Information we may process

Depending on features used, SHXRM Studio may process license/activation information, connected-account identifiers, authorization tokens needed for requested integrations, application settings, app/version information and diagnostic information you choose to provide.

Streaming-platform accounts

Twitch, Kick and YouTube connections use the providers' authorization systems. SHXRM Studio does not require you to type those provider passwords directly into the desktop application.

Credentials

Provider client secrets used for server-assisted authorization are intended to remain server-side. Sensitive desktop credentials are intended to use Windows-protected credential storage rather than ordinary plaintext configuration.

Your content

You retain ownership of your streams, recordings, scenes, overlays, media, graphics and other content.

Remote Production and Tailscale

Tailscale is a separate third-party service. SHXRM Studio may use a Tailscale connection for Full Remote Control, but SHXRM Studio does not operate the Tailscale network.

Diagnostics and logs

Local operational logs may be used to diagnose crashes, connection failures and media problems. Sensitive OAuth codes, tokens, stream keys and secrets should be redacted from normal logs.

Changes

This policy may be updated as production services and release features change.

This policy should receive final legal review before commercial release after payment, analytics, retention and production OAuth behavior are finalized.
